A woman who was pressed inadvertently delayed a plane when she opened the emergency exit thinking that it led to the toilet.
This incident occurred on flight PK702 that was going from Manchester Airport to Islamabad with Pakistan International Airlines on Friday.
When the woman in question boarded the flight, she needed to use the restroom immediately.
However, the misguided woman opened door L5 at the back of the plane on the left hand which to her chagrin did not lead to a toilet.
Because of this, the plane had to be delayed. Instead of departing by 9.20pm on Friday, the departure time was moved to 5am on the Saturday morning.
Consequently, 37 passengers had to be removed from the plane as the emergency chute was no longer on the plane leaving the passenger annoyed.
