Bear Mauls Circus Trainer After Being Forced To Push A Wheelbarrow

A bear was forced to have its own revenge after its trainer forced it to push a wheelbarrow while standing on its hind legs

The bear lost its cool in front of children who came to watch the circus and turned on its trainer, attacking him savagely.

The scary incident was caught on camera by one of the spectators when the trainer ordered the big brown bear to push a wheelbarrow on two feet in the show in the Karelia region of Russia.

The performing 600Ibs bear is seen going wild in a Russian circus ring, attacking the man and pinned him to the ground as children scream in fear.

The animal pounced on his trainer

Children sitting only a few feet away can be heard from the footage screaming during the frightful incident, while the other trainer can be seen kicking the bear in an attempt to distract it.

The huge bear finally was prodded with an electric shock device, while the audience fled for the only exit in the travelling circus.

The brown bear was the star attraction of the Anshlag Tent Circus and the show was named as ‘Bow-legged and the Wheelbarrow’. Police and local safety officials have launched an investigation into the incident.

Children were forced to watch the horrifying incident

One circus trainer was believed to be injured however no details have been given of his condition.

The mother of the woman that fled the terrible scene said: “My knees are still shaking.

“I was shocked there was no fence for the safety of spectators, given the size of the bear.”

Another audience said: “At first, for a few seconds, while recording the video, everyone thought it was a script.

The bear had to be poked with an electric stick to get it off the man

“But when the assistant started kicking the bear and pulled out the shocker, the panic started.

“People got up and ran to the exit.”

Even after the bear was given an electric shock it “had time to walk in a frenzied state in the arena, thus terrifying the people”.
