In a bid to protect his smart car from the ferocious winds of the Hurricane Dorian, a man has chosen to park his smart car in his kitchen to keep it safe.
It is even a wonder how the car managed to enter the house talk more of fit into the kitchen, but the desperate Florida man made it happen.
The idea came Patrick Eldridge and his wife was arguing if the car could fit into the kitchen because it was quite tiny.
His wife, Jessica Eldridge, didn’t think it would, so Patrick decided to do it to prove her wrong.
“I said there was no way he could. He said he could,” Jessica said. “So he opened the double doors and had it in. I was amazed that it could fit. He had it in with no problems.”
Prior to this, the man had been wondering where to park his car so the fierce winds heading their way would not blow it away.
His wife car was in the garage and there was no safe area to park his tiny smart cart car.
Dorian was skirting Florida’s coast Wednesday, narrowly missing Jacksonville as it heads northward along the Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina coastlines.
The Category 2 storm has devastated the Bahamas, where rescue crews have only begun taking the full measure of the damage.
With the car in the middle of the kitchen, Jessica Eldridge had to move around it to cook and serve dinner.
“I’m hoping he will pull it out pretty soon once the wind dies down,” she said. “There is room and it’s not in the way but my dogs are confused by it.
